Concept: Life is not just about the big moments, the milestones, or the accomplishments we achieve. It's also about the spaces in between, the moments that may seem mundane or insignificant, but where much of life happens.
The spaces in between can refer to the gaps or empty spaces between buildings, or the gaps between objects in a room. These spaces can be seen as negative spaces or voids, but they are just as important as the objects themselves. The spaces in between allow for movement and circulation, and they can help create a sense of balance and harmony. They can be activated to enrich, equip, build, and unite people. This means that every blank space in communities or in schools must be considered and given a purpose. This idea of filling the spaces between has been taken through the design proposal. Allowing space for public pedestrians to commute, pulling the building away where needed to protect and shelter the children. Creating intimate courtyards where outdoor learning can happen. Creating a connection to the leftover corners or regulated building offsets.
