Noteworthy Features
The office block is over 50 000m2 including a 3-level basement containing parking for 500 cars and a major computer installation housed in the fourth basement, six meters below sea level. The building size was subject to strict council control and houses over 1 800 staff. The materials were to harmonise with the late Victorian sandstone clad City Hall.
